Hi, I started producing about half a year ago, and there are still many things I could learn. If anyone could take a listen and criticize what I have, it'd be appreciated.

Feel like I want to get to know that sub bass a bit better, maybe some more definition on that. The drums get repetitive...and the song doesn't hold me, but there are good elements here with the melodies and what not. It doesn't seem like the song suits the amount of repetition you've used. I'd say you could make the song 5 or even 4 minutes and get the point across, but I may be missing the point...so that's subjective.

For 6 months, it's pretty good. You seem to have a sense for arrangement and what not, just need to keep the song moving and maybe shortening things up and adding some more nuance or dynamics would help.

Keep putting the time in and learning. That's what I'm trying to do.

Cheers,

nice tune just got to work on your bass.... a little overwhelming at times....did you put anything on the master bus?

Thanks to both of you for replying!
Yeah I'll try to make my songs less repetitive in the future haha!

And I might have put sausage fattener on my master and maybe a limiter as well.
