so i had my ear plugs hanging on my neck and i thought i didn't have them. my ears are ringing now! almost 24hrs and still.
Paul went hard. i liked it. Cut off was definitely memorable to listen to it live.
bjork.. well, it was too much trouse-electro sound then trance. got to listen to perfect blue at least.
Rory, you the man. fantastic set! if you recorded it, you should upload it right away. Let everyone get a taste of that monster opening you did man.
Overall a very good night for a fair price cover charge and venue! i think PW loved it as well. |

Really upset I missed Rory...but this is why I always to prefer to go alone. I get there on time and see who I want to see. Instead I ended up waiting around for friends who got lost then was late to pick up my other friends.
Got there when Akesson was on already and from the second I stepped foot in there I had to put my earplugs in. It sounded like they were gonna blow the speakers out at any second.
I recall one really bad trainwreck that night when me and James Gill looked at each other with the :wtf: expression, too funny! but shortly after that I was so drunk I wouldn't have heard a trainwreck if it stabbed me in the ear.
Good turn out although I was expecting a bunch more people who didn't show. When Paul Webster played "Neelix - Expect What" I nearly flipped my . Had fun hanging out with the usual suspects. Nice to see Burak after like a million years :p
There's still bit's and pieces of the night I don't remember but some of it is starting to come back to me lol. In either case I'm gonna chill at home this weekend and rest up for next week :) |
