have to be honest...great track selection, but boring blend after blend that sucked the life out of this. i'm trying to be honest, not mean....track selection is a big deal, but there are so many ways to mix tracks that the same transition every time sucked the life out of it.

take this the right way, and next time more drama plz:)

I've only taken one listen so far but did like what I heard... dub techno IMO can be pretty boring as a standalone genre, but mixed in with deep (and this is some really deep) house adds a great dimension to the mix. Also thought the pacing was good with a clear and logical progression. Nice job, Woony!

I see where you're trying to come frome but at the same time I don't know, I thought a bunch of smooth blends was the best way to mix these kinds of tracks. It hard for me to see how you could put more "drama" in a mix like this but I'll try to give it a go.

And thanks for the feedback!

glad you took it well. people don't usually expect more if they think you suck. you could try mixing out earlier in some tracks, eqing more aggressively, even swapping baselines on the 2 or the 3 can add some spice. only my opinion of course.

Finally gave this a go LOL.

I uber liked the deep house bits... but I found that early, there was a spot where the mix just lagged on, kinda went nowhere. Then it picked up again. Maybe that was intended, but I don't like "flatline" portions in mixes, just personal opinion :p

I'm definitely grabbing a few of these tracks though - btw this mix has 'lounge bar' written all over it, fyi ;)

*edit: Also, I thought there were a couple "ballsy" transitions that worked out well, so kudos :)

OK listened in. Great tracks, loved them a lot.

Some of the transitions were way too short and abdrupt for my liking, but some worked well with me. Levels seemed good enough, maybe work on level comprehension a little bit(one can usually be better in this so this is pretty general advice). 34:minutesish transition kinda sketchy as hell(maybe could have picked another transition point),I think the energy was ok though after some small time. Another transition that irk'd me was around 1:01 in and you got pretty sloppy after that. I want to listen to a portion of this intoxicated. Enjoyed a good chunk, so its good enough for me, work towards perfection blah-blah-blah. This set is infinitely better than George's trendy e. Goddamn I hate you George.

Stupid J, make a new set, and make it fit inside a gloryhole. That is all.

this music sounds so delicate like it'll break if you mix it too hard

I bet you'd like this track

Thanks for the feedback MSZ and Chris :)

I guess I'll give this one more bump.

Have listened to this mix several times now. Dub techno and deep house works really well together but I might be a bit biased here since they are two of my favourite subgenres. Anyways, good effort here Woony, hope to hear a dub house and deep techno mix from you next time!
