Giant moved due to the sale of Vanguard and some stuff related to that. There's more to the story but that was the main impetus for them moving. |

Two questions:
Who is avici?
What is a headling? |

Cevici: he's a little fag with zits that presses play on a machine.
Headliner: Guy who makes a ton of money pressing play on a little machine. |

it was booked in-house then.
yep they had a period where they were specifically booking a lot of underground/techno djs...
Sound on fridays and Exchange on Saturdays should help provide a wider range of more eclectic talent. |

Avalon had an in-house talent booker at the time. Liquified, Spundae (YAY!) and Saturday Night Sessions (Go Ventures) all helped out with the promotions. I believe GV only assisted once a month.
Liquified helped with some of the talent booking too. |

Dave Dean does most of Pasqualle's bookings. Maybe not so much anymore, but the year insomniac starting booking the big guys is the year they teamed up with giant.
ever since giant cancelled nye, they have really been doing more behind the scenes than anything else. |

huh?
source??
i know that Dave Dean did the talent booking for Saturday nights at Vanguard while they were together while Pasquale would book acts for the off nights (Friday with PvD). never heard of Dave Dean doing the talent booking for Insomniac though.
Not that I disagree with you... just never heard that one before. |

worked WITH not for. I know all these people from back in the day. I used to produce events and when I did, our staff & friends had a lot of crossover.
a lot has changed over the years. |
