Actually, no, it seems to be a bizarre correlation that holds true no matter how nice you are to them.
The two morbidly obese women I know are incredibly irascible, and I've seen them unleash their fury for no good reason - one of them targeting different people several times. As a matter of fact, I was a colleague of one of them, and we worked together on a website with material for Japanese language students. One day, she asked what I was doing research on and, when I told her I was studying Native Brazilian languages, she flipped out, saying I was a burden on the system because I did research on something completely useless that no one cared about... and I should teach economically viable languages because no one cares about tribes that will no longer exist in a hundred years time. She was incredibly nasty and hostile, and I genuinely feared for my life.
Probably because the other woman repeatedly threatened to devour waiters. I kid you not. |
