I priced out two tickets and it came out to $315 a piece. Absolutely insane. $100 more than the early bird tickets last year.

Go yourself Made.

yeah sure if you wanna look it that way.

I cannot look at it that way. i have been seeing a lot of these djs for a long time. i cannot justify dropping this much money just like that. Maybe to you it is still a relatively new experience going to concerts, therefore you don't mind coughing up that cash. But not me, no sirie!

^^ True dat.

Only early birds i'm looking forward to are DEMF

Though I may consider Miami for a long weekend. Treehouse had good techno all week there and Dubfire killed it too at one of the douchier clubs

this. a friend of mine just moved down there so i will just go down there to visit him and then hit up parties and enjoy miami in the summer for a few days and even book a trip up to toronto or montreal they have a great scene up there. i went to digital dreams festival over the summer 2 day pass was like 100 bucks

as for this festival, it's sad to see what it has become, for those who have been going since year 1 know how much fun it was and how quality the music was. now even tho the festival has grown with alot of positive things, it still seems like they are tryin to stick it to the working man cause they can with these prices.
theres no way iam spending 3 days at that festival again this year. even tho i had a blast on sat last year (minus the immature neon crowd) price wise it still dont add up for me for 3 days.
i will wait until line-up's get announced and chose which day is my style. i will go and make the best of it.

Neonbeats
Bought a ticket just in case the lineup is strong this year. You can always sell em anyway. Too bad it's not 18+ though....heard there were way too many kiddies this year.

actually ive been to every ezoo since 2009, and countless "edm" club/concerts events so it actually just comes down to no matter what this works out to be the be the easiest and least costing festival to go to for me, and i happen to enjoy it

i had a feeling you would not be new to the festivals that's why i said maybe. I guess i had to see other reason then just what you bluntly stated already. great to see that you love it. And you are right, altogether it does make sense that is cheaper for you as a NY resident compared to other travelers. so cheers and have fun. Didn't mean to attack you, just frustrated that prices are skyrocketing, talent booking is fadin and all ages events are becoming a thing. That's all

every year i rage at how much they go up, but even still: 3 day long concert, still about ~100/day. considering all the possible acts they can bring it's not an outrageous price.

not to mention the payment plans do make it a bit more tolerable to bite
