Hey there. Don't normally post on this section of TA, but I did want to see if anyone could help me out with identifying this certain kind of synth that I've found on a number of progressive house tunes. Just trying to see if there was a specific name for it or not.

Anyways, I'm just curious. Like I said I've heard this one particular sound on quite a few progressive releases and I've always liked it, found it soothing. So any name/info on it would be appreciated.

Those be sine leads, first one with some overdrive or something on it. Usually paired with some sort of multi-tap effect.

These ones seem to be more saturated, could even posses some other more harmonic waveforms. You should like it tho. There is also the Jose acosta 4x4 remix which is cool.

Oh yeah. The leads on that track is quite wonderful. Kinda reminds me of Niklas Harding - Ice Beach in a way, although that just might be more of the feeling instead.
