According to the Washington Post, one half of the celebrated Deep Dish duo, Sharam, has had a huge sum of his earnings swindled by his bookkeeper.
The DJ and Yooshi label founder hired Kristin Gardner Kelly in 2010 and over the following two years police believe that Kelly - who unbeknownst to Sharam had just finished serving a jail sentence for embezzling nearly $150,000 from her previous employer - stole more than $100,000 from him.
Along with being accused of embezzling money from the superstar DJ, Kelly is also facing a charge for being married to two people at the same time, which court records indicate has in fact happened twice and that Kelly claims is the mens' fault. She also claims that whilst she worked for Sharam, he was sending money to terrorists in Iran, and reported him to the FBI. Sharam’s lawyer and the authorities have stated this is not true.
Sharam has refused to comment but his lawyer Timothy Davis has said of his client that the scenario "has harmed his relations with other folks who were owed money" and that he had to "mend fences with people who weren’t paid or paid late.”
Sharam toured Australia last month, taking in two dates in Sydney and Melbourne. |

| I'm glad she got caught. At the same time, who would hire someone like that as their accountant? |
