OK,

Do we only sit behind our computer and listen to some new trance records, or remixes!?(INFINITY OR LYNX, LOL, just joking:D:D:D) Or do we, AS REAL TRANCEADDICTS, go to some big events several times a year or even several times a month?

I go to big party once or twice a month, it depends on the money I can spend, or the time I need to study for my exams!

I am talking about big raves, around 10.000 people, not about small clubs, with unfamous resident DJ's!

WELL VOTE!!!

I've been to one big festival in my life, that was Impulz 2-17-2001
If there were more festivals in the neighbourhood I would go but there aren't any:(

Well I live near the hague, so it takes about 40 minutes by train! But Rosmalen, is that really far from the trance centre <>??

well, it's 15 minutes from Den Bosch, and there's is nothing to do at all when you're talking about trance:( Impulz is the only thing, and that is more Techno- hardhouse style. I like Progressive and uplifting

btw: I am 16 years old so I don't have a lot of money to spend on travelling to Trance parties. And a lot of clubs are for peeps that are 18+:(

HEY!
watch urself mr.!
i used to go a lot...

That depends when there is a party, back here we haven't got such big awesome party's ,last month I went to one,but before that it dated from the last(and the first) innercity that was held here, soo
But what we have got here are great trance-clubs,that aren't that big,but they're not small neither, and that's where you can find me :)

Well I think you can't give people a status by the number of parties you visit in a year.
Look to me, I have't that much cash and I visit 4 times a year a party.
And that are parties where more than 25000 people are coming.

WTF Have you been asleep for the last 6 months - sure 17 means that is a problem. A lot of the internationals we get in Adelaide are from various genres and they are thick and fast! Check this:

Trance/Techno/House:
TIMO MAAS!! - went off at Renaissance
Dave Seaman - good, but not as good as Timo
Paul van Dyk
Jeff Mills
Carl Cox
Judge Jules
Pete Tong
Stacey Pullen
Paul Oakenfold
Darren Emerson
Richie Hawtin
Ian Pooley
Darude
HMC & Sean Quinn -both Aussies, but both are exports!

Hard house/NRG/Drum & Bass/Other:
Karim
Nick Sentience
Billy Bunter
Jon Doe
Chris C
Moby
RR Fierce
Grooverider
Ed Rush & Optical
LTJ Bukem
Roni Size

These have all been to Adelaide in the last 10 months. Sure it may not be as good as in Holland, or UK etc. But we can't change that. Whenever you can (after you are 18, or all ages events) show your support and we may get more! We missed out on Ferry Corsten last year :( because of the Oakenfold tour - too close together, too small a population.

Tiesto, John "00" Fleming, Fergie and Richie Hawtin are all rumoured to be touring soon and Guy Ornadel is coming for the Gatecrasher tour in June

More than 1000 is big for an Adelaide rave. but I usually see a good international maybe every 3-4 months. And I go to see a local/interstate party about once a month, I guess.

I also think that a smaller rave with a more intimate atmosphere can be just as powerful as a big party. The DJ is usually closer to everyone - there is more room to move/dance and usually the crowd is more into the music and less into the "ooh look at me I'm cool cos I'm at a rave" attitude - when the crowd know what they want - the DJ usually puts on a better show.
