Ok... explain what the difference is between them, because i notice the same thing is being said between raves and parties and we may agree on this.

on tht note, can someone explain tome what a Candy Raver is (prefferably with pics) ;)

Candy Ravers are those "kids" everyone talk about who get so ed up on E, they were tons of "kandi" which is basicly the baby , etg. pacifyers, 100 bracelets on each arm of differnt colour, whistles. usually they have a small book that they will ask you to sign.

candikids are usually into Happy Hardcore

Kandi kids book here
Kandi Kid Faq <--- dont know how legit it is

I think that picture really captures the true essence of candy kidz. When I started partying, I actually started out as a candy kid, but it didn't last long and I never wore anything furry or fuzzy. I did have lots of bracelets and a soother though. Man, what was I thinking????

The new thing will be dressing up like futuristic style, ALA hackers, Blade 1 and 2, stuff like that. That will be the new fashion trend...I see alot of kids catching onto it now.

Screw it... here's what we do for the next trend.

Everyone dresses up in hardcore retro Disco style. Bust out the platforms with fish and everything! New rule: It's not a party till a Huggy Bear look-alike shows up!!! Yah man!

>Fats vomits violently in the corner... wipes mouth and composes self

Sorry, must be the shrooms from the weekend still floating in my system. Seriously though, what about reviving the old two tones style. Fedora's and Blues Brother shades all around..

Cheers,
Fats

I know over in Europe... especially in the UK, that instead of Kandi Kids they have Cyber Kids.

I don't know about that.

ok, I have officially read the Kandi Kids faq and her eare the things taht humour me most:

quote:

The typical Candy Kid will be wearing many candy neckalaces with toys attached to them, many bracelts, perhaps a huge plastic toy wallet chain, bright colored clothing, excessive amounts of body glitter, tons of stickers, a kids backpack full of toys & candy, pants made out of faux fur, big bell bottoms, big overalls, and sometimes eye makeup.

So what happens when a Kandi kid wants to go for a job interview? Do they dress like this as well? I find this just as funny as Ginos lol

quote:

There is a huge ammount of positive energey inside and usally the Candy Kid will not give a damn who is watching him/her and will run around the rave like he/she owns it or knows eveybody there.

Ok It is good to have positive enrgy. That's fine. But how old are they? To call themselves kids?

quote:

The Candy Kid also wears a kid's backpack. Inside the back-pack you will find anything from candy to drugs.

A 20 year old wearing a kids back pack lol.

quote:

This style of dress originated from the ecstacy dealers of the rave scene years ago. The dealer would be the Candy Kid. Since they were bright and easy to spot, all the ravers would know he/she had ecstacy. Later on the fashion style caught on as regular rave attire and the link between ecstacy and the Candy Kid slowly began to seperate

WEll, I never encounterted and E-dealer in 95 but then again I also never saw someone dress like that. Is that what they did over here?

running out of things to laugh at, can someone take over? Flec, SAY SOMETHING!:stongue:
