| I downloaded this because I saw that you played Dune (Too Dusty Remix), which is an absolute monster/signature track, amongst other tracks from Too Dusty. Overall, I was a little disappointed. I didn't have any problem with the tunes you chose, but there was a fundamental programming issue with the mix, in two ways. Firstly, during your first 5 tracks I was almost begging for you to start making your point. The tracks by Hedflux and Bad Tango didn't suck, but they were just kinda meh, until you played Dune which absolutely explodes with energy. The track was great but then you totally killed the energy with the Floating Balloon remix right after it, which isn't bad, but it just has a totally different groove. You were up and down with the energy, and then I didn't really care for anything you played after Push Up The Bass (Blazer Remix). Also, your mixing left a little more to be desired, which is why I felt like the energy died as you let some of those tracks play out a little too long. I think I saw you posted a few other mixes so I might go check those out. I suggest you click the one in my signature, I made that last month. Not a bad effort, you just mismanaged the flow of the mix. Keep it up, friend. |
