How long does it take you to take a****?

I never understood why people have a library in their bathroom. I only get on the pot when I'm ready to go. 1-2 minutes tops. There's this magazine article about what really happened in the Tomcat marriage that I've been meaning to read at work. But before I can find it buried in the load of ads they put in magazines I'm already done ting.

I have to read while ting. Have to. I feel profoundly wrong if I don't read something while on the can. No real idea why.

If there's nothing to read I'll snatch the soap dispenser or the air freshener and read what's on the back of that instead. It just needs to be done.

I wonder what they did before they invented bathroom literature.

i think some people have trouble. like they have to go but it takes time. My stools are a nice 4 on the bristol chart so i am never there for too long.

Sometimes (once a month probably) it takes 30 minutes just to realise it's just not possible to go.

And that's a lot less annoying/stressful when you've just read something interesting.

Absolutely required.

I'm done in 30 seconds flat.
I have no idea why some people take so long to take a . My sister comes to mind, dropping weapons of ass destruction for like 30 min. Thank we had other bathrooms in the house.

For a similar reason that I never get bad diarhea after eating spicy food.

People's stomaches work differently and are just naturally more prone to blocking up or not?

Indeed.
I personally have an intestinal tract filled with lava, so does my husband. We eat lots of spicy food and it doesn't affect us... much haha.

I think it has a lot to do with your diet. I eat almost strictly white meat (fish and poultry), much easier to digest. I never get constipated. When I do eat red meat I almost immediately regret it.. 2 days ago I made some Lamb stuffed peppers and it took me a whole day to digest that (it was delicious, though). My husband must have crapped half his weight the next day. :p
