| I know beats are overpriced and a lot of people say they are not worth it. I am looking to spend $100-300 for headphones and there are supposed to be way superior ones out there. Bass should be deep but sound production is also very important. any suggestions. |

Haha Beats? You are looking for a particular brand of headphone and the best you can think of or even mention or compare to are Beats?
Good luck. |

| You'll be using them for producing? If so, you should look at headphones that will give you a flat response without overemphasizing lower frequencies. |

They're really meant for djing, but have really good sound quality and the bass is the best ive heard. Only thing that sucks is you cant leave em on for too long because your ears will go numb haha, theyre kinda tight on the ears. |

If you're going to get Sonys, just buy the 7506s. 700s are such overpriced hype, just like...
...nevermind, get the 700s. |

I dont know why anyone would recommend the v700s. The build quality is subpar, the plastic hinge construction is a huge up which sony doesnt do anything about. The sound is not even that great. The good part about them is they go ing loud, great power handling. They are now discontinued, now are markted by sony(with fancy colors) as the MDR-V55DJ. Stay away from this headphone.
Like Pivot said, atleast go for the sony v7506 / sony v6. Surprisingly flat until a point, sturdy construction, metal band, better pads. Just buy the ing audio technicas you fool. |
