We put so much effort to get our own forum and now it has died. Such a tragedy. All the old TXTA's have left...

:-(
regulate
pretty much :/

Randomly check and all I see is ads for astic shows. When the trance got replaced with all these ty dumbstep and pop-house shows obviously this forum for trance is going to and has now died. If there's anyone to blame its the astic promoters bringing the astic popular crap. Oh well. Have to hope this EDM fad (which is what it is) goes away and us real fans can get our genre back.

Edit: This in more words than I can come up with explains exactly why this forum is dead:

Damn.... :/ I decided to check out this forum to see who was still on here. Nothing but spam. RIP indeed.

I still check it out from time to time but yea this place has been dead for a while.lol IDK why promoters post on here its not like TXTA has high traffic. I'd say lets unite our interests for a monthly gathering or agree in investing on bringing legit talent our way. Thats probably way we can actually do something to bring about the artists we demand opposed to waiting for the likes of 77002 to supply (don't hold your breath).

I've thought about starting something but just can't figure out how I would pay for it. I mean, there really isn't any other option other than Stereo Live and Nightculture at this point. I hate that. Moist things has brought Ummet Ozcan and Myon & Shane54 and with the re-opening of Rich's, hopefully we can start having less brotastic events to go to.

I've supported for over 10 years with driving to shows all over Texas to see quality acts but over the last few years my driving has been drastically cut back due to the lack of said quality coming through our state. A real shame it has become for us that were there from before the cheesEDM fad blew up.

Unfortunately for the lack of you there are 50 others that will go just because of the popularity. This is all they see, why should they care about you when they have another 50 to make up for you. This is what I have a problem with. The comments on this post explain exactly why it is the way it is too. "Thanks for the suggestions, we'll keep an eye out for availability" should translate into "Thanks for the suggestions, we'll keep an eye out on what will make us money." Exactly why I am now boycotting Nightculture events and will be telling my friends to as well.

There is stuff going on in this state in the form of cheesEDM ragefests where faces are melted to the awesomenest of the latest brostep remixed radio hit by Guetta...
