Calgary and Edmonton may be colder on the Thermostat but its a dry cold. Not like wet cold we have in T.O that hits your bones. But we cannot forget to mention Montreal & Ottawa which is way colder.
I remember a time I was in Ottawa (close to Montreal) coming back from the bar I bought I water bottle at this Shwarma place I walked ten minutes to where I was staying and the water bottle had a ton of ice in it. Now thats cold. |

I dislike anywhere that the mossies get me, Calgary thus far is the biggest bastard for that. 70 bites despite using 50% deet during a round of golf. Edmonton isn't a lot above, it goes cold quick too, in Aug 2010 I arrived to 30c and by mid sept I departed having bought a hat & gloves. Not too bad a place though, nicer than people give it credit for. Regina & Winnipeg on the otherhand...
Toronto I like, although the humidity is annoying at times but once you either go down to a basement or find A/C you're fine. |

The graph here for Brisbane would be pretty much opposite the OP, except our spring and autumn last for about 5 weeks or so on either side of the summer. Pretty much only 6 to 7-ish weeks of "winter" where the daytime temps are about 20C/70F. |

You must be confused. You must be talking about Montreal. The only hot girl I've ever seen in Toronto was staring back at me in my bathroom mirror. :P |

Speaking of Montreal, what's it like living there if you don't speak French? Could you live and work there comfortably for a year and get by with English?
Hot girls are always a bonus. |
