The last time I saw them before they released Wake Your Mind their set was COMPLETELY different than what I saw Saturday night. Several people I spoke w/ at the show, and after, even agreed it wasn't a very good trance-based show. I have a decent idea what trance sounds like (been listening for almost ten years now) and the sounds I was hearing that night, for the most part were not trance.
Based upon the list you just wrote (which is fairly accurate for what they played off WYM) then it was just a producers 'trance' set, which still sucks. While I liked the WYM album, it wasn't a purely trace album. However, what you listed was not half the set, sorry. That was maybe about 30-40% of it.
Anywho, if you guys enjoyed yourselves, good. I did not, but happens. I might give them one more shot in NYC in December, but the last time they were around I did not hear great things about them, so we'll see.

the 30-40% is prob accurate, but the other 60-70% is a blur thx to a great buzz i had. and i had a blast, sorry you didn't.

No. We just want people to stop calling the music trance because the DJ/Producer USED to play it.
Yes they played a couple decent trance tracks. But the majority is not, that's all I'm trying to say, along with it hurts to see this because I've been listening to CG since the original Exploration of Space dropped.
