An arrest warrant has been issued in the US state of New Jersey against superstar DJ and producer Roger Sanchez.
According to Quote Magazine, from which this story originated earlier today, Sanchez owes his former management agency, Unmanageable Artists at least US $400,000. Additionally, Sanchez also owes his former booking agency The Syndicate at least €25.000. Interest included, Sanchez owes the two companies around US $500,000 total.
The initial warrant was filed against Sanchez by his old business partner, and owner of both businesses in question, Olga Heijns. The arrest warrant only applies in the state of New Jersey, and does not affect his upcoming performance at the yearly renowned Amsterdam Dance Event this coming weekend.
A 2009 court appearance gave the upper hand to Heijns, where it was said that Sanchez was to pay the amount owed, however to date, no transfer of funds has been made in any amount to any of the parties in question. |
