Cool Edit 2000, help me with crack!

Please help me with the crack for Cool Edit 2000, I have a crack for this program allready, but when I run it it asks me for a serialnumber. When I type in a serial that I found somewhere it gives a message like: Invalid name or serial number. I have used several serials now.
If you know how to use this crack or if you have another crack please let me know.

| the warez group that provided you with the serial should have included the name as well. you MUST put the same name as well as the serial number because they correspond together in this case. |

There is a nfo file with this crack, but my computer can't open it (i think). At least my computer gives an error message when I try to open it.

| try using wordpad or microsoft word to open it MANUALLY. like open word first THEN open it. i had this problem myself a few years ago. i believe that this solves the problem because an .nfo file is essentially a .txt file. |

Thanks everyone, It works now. I opened the nfo file manually and the serial worked.
