Hello,
It's me again. My another crappy kick pack is ready! These kicks are for the trance. Like uplifting and so on.
As usually,
-Clean 24 bit samples
-Made from scratch (clean low end)
-Kicks are labeled to the note where they are made on (like kick 08 F#).
-Aimed for the trance

the mistake i made when making a kick was that it didn't have enough mids and highs to come through on a smaller speaker! |

| There's definitely more lows in these kicks, compared to the set I use. They sounded "funny" to me at first because of that, but was just that my ears weren't used to them. I see no reason to not use these, I like that they sound different than other kicks I've used. |

But dude.. If these are like your other pack, you def. don't need moar mid and highs.. i've used your kicks for 3 or 4 projects now, and they need a lot of taming in +2k range imo. some of them are a bit too ticky/clicky.. but still the best kicks in my collection! these are the only that are boomy enough, other commercial packs are just punchy..
so great work.. looking forward to be using these!
edit: some of them seem to lack a little in the 500-1k area, if that's what you're thinking of. but that just leaves room for crunchy loops imo. |

Hey, is this kick pack 3 or 4? Like I said, I did kick pack 1,2 and 3 with ath-50m's headphones. They are just super boomy headphones and they don't play the mids properly, imo. Once I listened these my kickpacks with these my old headphones (akg k 240mkii), I was "oh , these kicks have wayyyy to much mid click". After that episode, I decide to sell those ath-50's and now I have made these two latest kick packs, 4&5, with these akg k 240mkii headphones. In these kicks, there should not be too much that mid click? :eek: |
