Definitely agree...19+ sucks. I saw Koyu and Pleasurekraft in June @ Control. 1st time going to Avalon on Friday. Bro fest and saw 2 fights that night. One positive though...no washers on Friday night!

I'm a huge fan of pleasurekraft but I thought his set in June was way too repetitive.

What an amazing night! Had never even heard of Pleasurekraft before, I was there for Green Velvet, but now I must be the world's biggest Pleasurekraft fan! Mind melting Tech House with Funky beats is the only way I know how to describe the sound. The DJ knew exactly what he was doing with this crowd and drove everyone into a frenzy!

Found a good interview with half of Pleasurekraft (Kaveh),

This is the video from above link:

The video is an interview mixed with shots from live performances, so you'll get the feel of how Avalon was. Such a humble group too, they are clearly in it for the music, not the DJMag top whatever.

Green Velvet followed and was great, didn't pack the punch that I've heard before, more of a darker, ambient, tech heavy set. Overall, an awesome night of music and considering it was a 19+ night, the crowd seemed pretty mature. Wristbands pretty much everywhere I looked, which meant either 21+ or good fake ID's. ;)
