They started doing this with the Top 100 Clubs list a few years ago which is even more retarded. It used to be voted on my industry experts and djs themselves who have actually been to most of the clubs. Now it's mostly voted on by clubbers that haven't partied outside their own city/country.

It just goes to show how much credibility these rankings are losing when DJs like Hawtin, Digweed, Sasha, Cattaneo and Sven Vath have moved down by 30-50+ spots! It makes me think this poll will eventually just dishearten the underground followers to even vote for their favourite artists. They need to at least separate out the voting (and rankings) by genre/sub-genre, as the scene diversifies at such pace!
