Weird glitch with TA/The Matrix

We had that issue with the TA emoticons a while back, but ever since then I've noticed that sometimes (not every time, just occasionally) the animated emoticons are frozen either on the first frame, or somewhere halfway through. Does anyone else get that?
I've also noticed that sometimes animated gifs don't load lately, or only go part of the way though, even if they're hosted externally. Could that be part of the same problem?
I am using Win7 and Chrome. |

| A lot of the smileys don't work on my work computer at home, but it's connected through a VPN so I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it. It works fine on my Mac with any browser, but not on this one with XP and Chrome. |
