Get ceiling or wall mounted monitor arms (or even desk mounted). Don't think there are any decent motorized ones.
Custom desk, Euphonix stands on top. Keyboard is in a motorized drawer, slides down under the desk at the flick of a switch. Piece of piss for any carpenter to make. |

| I'm looking at getting me a table right now, and I thiiiink I found a kinda cool one that has a somewhat unique shape, where the back corners are cut out so I can mount speakers on proper stands behind it, and there's like a belly cut-out, that i can slide into, smack in the sweet spot. hopefully. then maybe i cut hole in it so I can lower two monitors into it and have a tilt foot pedal. owyeh. |

ok so i figured out what i am going to do.
I have a piece of wood i will use as a shelf for the euphonix controller. It will be attached to a slide drawer mechanism that will go under the desk when not needed. Then The monitors will just go on stands like the one on the left. Even better would be one that has a spring so that it can be adjusted in height once out but it isn't necessary.
The only problem i'm having is finding a slide extension that can go say about 1 metre. Any blue collar poor people with advice ? A good place online ? |

i have the wood. I just need the slide mechanism. I have proper tools. And youtube. I just need the parts. I'm sure they exist somewhere.
the slides are easy but they tend to be too small.
How much do carpenters expect to be paid ? |

| i don't get paid per hour. But lets assume in an alternate universe , i am your mum, and i suck for say 20$ an hour ( no blacks ) , how many dicks would it cost to suck if the average dick is sucked for 10 minutes to pay for this type of carpenter job. Although i'm your mom in this scenario, lets assume i don't suck the carpenter off and i'm paying full rate. |

Seriously tho , easy question. Where would i find this part. It seems like such a simple thing to do. I want a shelf that is 1 metre long, to go under my desk. I have the wood. I just need a slide undermount. Voila. analog |
