All Access is a different story though...I think my last All Access party there was Sasha & Lawler, which can't even be considered a true all access.
edit dude...that was 7 years ago... :eyespop: :eyespop: :eyespop: |
hahaha that's what I'm saying, its been YEARS since a truly mind blowing all access party, and at one point they were pretty frequent.

Carl Cox ing destroyed Guv mainroom that night. Easily top 3 parties in the main room since I started going there 10 years go.
Top 3 main room parties were
1. Deep Dish @ Labour of Love 2004
2. Carl Cox @ 9 year
3. Nic Fanciulli vs. Davide Squillace morning set @ Family Day 2009 |

What was really awesome back then was the diversity.
I'd always go for just a few select acts, but it was cool that if you liked trance - you had a solid lineup in the KH, if you liked Techno/House - you had an awesome mainroom lineup, If you liked Drum & Bass - you had Orange room, If you wanted locals - you had the Drink/Skybar. Something for everyone. Now it just seems like one specific group gets catered to and the lineups don't reach the same scope of diversity they used to.

^^^ This. I always applauded them back in the day how they had a sound for EVERYONE. Top acts across the board, from almost all genres of EDM. |

I remember them shutting down the main room at close to 11am and it was still very full. I don't think something like that has happened since. |

Guvernment gets ridiculously overcrowded. I mean to the point where I think it's illegal.
I love Koolhaus, but big names in Guv, never again. There's literally no space to move. It ruins the party no matter how good the set is. |
