Since there seems to be lots of threads popping up about similar subjects or artists lately I've decided to start a thread so I can find some more classic trance albums of a particular style and quality level.

I'm looking for more stuff like:

Cosmic Baby - Thinking About Myself

Mystic Force - Frontier

Cosmic Baby - Stellar Supreme

Dance 2 Trance - Moon Spirits

X-Dream - Trip To Transylvania

and maybe to a lesser extent
Juno Reactor-Transmissions

Recap for those who don't wanna scroll through heaps of album covers:
Cosmic Baby - Thinking About Myself
Mystic Force - Frontier
Cosmic Baby - Stellar Surpeme
Dance 2 Trance - Moon Spirits
X-Dream - Trip to Transylvania
Juno Reactor - Transmissions

Nice list. You might want to have a listen to my oldskool trance mix. It's filled with stuff from the early 90s.

I have a feeling I may have already, I'm gonna listen (again, or maybe the first time) now regardless. Then there's always whatever albums those tracks are off.

Thanks!

Care to share a couple of albums you think might be similar to any on there though?

That's good, but more technoey than what I was looking for.

Section x - Space control is an amazing track(absolutely awesome on distance to goa 3 disc 2 mix), but again not quite what I was looking for.

May as well keep posting stuff like that anyway though, plenty of great music so far.

Eye-Q, Harthouse, Platipus... the list could go on.

This mix is pretty good (40 minutes in, more comments in the actual thread when I'm done) but all the stuff seems to be either more technoey or psyish sounding than what I was looking for.

LSG's first album could probably be added to that list of albums too btw.

Maybe:

Spooky - Gargantuan
Jam & Spoon - Tripomatic Fairytales 2001
Peter Lazonby - Your Humble Servant
Rabbit In The Moon - Phases Of An Out Of Body Experience
Blue Planet Corporation - A Blueprint For Survival

?

That sounds good, I've heard of a couple of them (and forgotten about them) and they're definitely what I'm looking for. Thanks.

examples aren't playable, so can't say if these are similar. but they are quality.

amos - church of freedom quivver mix (1995)

pvd - my world machester 2004 (1994)

says 2004 in the title, but it's 1994. can't believe how fresh it sounds still. i have the green valley EP, green vinyl :D it's the least dated sounding 1994 tune i have heard. visionary in the production skills and title name. :disbelief

pvd - love letter (1994)
