Too bad more didn't. It looks like an awesome experience & I think it's cool-as-! I *SO* wanted to come up for it this year but didn't. Next year, I'm in. I'm missing the local zombie walk here this weekend cuz I'll be in NYC for Sensation :( but I know it doesn't hold a candle to TO's Zombie Walk.

I've always wondered about the fascination surrounding zombie walks, and zombies in general.

Just seems like a bunch of people dressed up, walking in ways that's bound to give them hip problems. Boring?

This year's was my 2nd attendance. It's a pretty cool experience. The weather wasn't the greatest but I managed. Slowest 2 hour 5k walk ever, haha. My costume wasn't up to par with many, considering the bar is always set so high. I tried to be traditional.. I think I've got the 'walk' mastered though. I stayed in the character the entire time, so I didn't take pictures while I was there. The level of creativity from some people is f***ing insane!! The most memorable was the zombie (meat) grinder. It looked like a lot of work went into that. There's a variety of links posted here that'll take you to albums:

I'm not necessarily into zombies, but I'm into anything creative and people being clever.

Seriously. That's really cool costume
Dior Homme
Zombies are awesome. The whole concept of it is quite interesting actually.

The interest is comparable to vampires, witches and enchancement/fair tales.

Which reminds me, I should get Resident Evil 6.
Wurm
The perfect metaphor for consumption culture, xenophobia, and the faceless else of mass society.

I always miss the walk in my town. They put flyers up a week before. Terrible.

I know it's gotta be traumatic for a kid, but it's still a bit funny, lol.
