heres the thing with that. after people like deadmouse, guetta, swedish house lol mafia and numerous others literally butchered the whole genre, twisting it into something....( let me put it this way : i always had a special place in my heart filled with hatred for trance BUT few times i went with people and it wasnt SO bad, it was just utterly un-danceable and way too ing happy, whereas i dont even bother with this crap being played right now)...ed up, i honestly dont think music that awesome can be made anymore. granted, people can try and im sure there would be some gems but its done.
good prog is a thing of the past, just like tribal. so it wouldnt be a bad idea to simply go all out and bring back oldies. chug the outta 8-10 hours, us old farts would have a blast and this new deadmouse/swag/yolo generation could learn a thing or two while having the time of their lives.
not that im better than them, far from that but...cmon. id rather listen to the 3 hour loop of (help with the title please) "raw animal bounce you make me....., desire on fire your scent is hot, you dance to the beat of the jungle rock, you blow me a kiss this time i cant be stopped..." than to a ing...whats it called??? love affair??? lol zzzzzz

I disagree with you guys about the prog part, there is still good prog being made, even with oldschooly influence(maybe sans the vocals), its just not handed to you on a platter(relatively speaking) as it once was. Too much selection and over-saturation, but Xavier have you even actively seeked it out? or are you just easily concluding here on text?. Also, its not the cool thing to spin, I too hate that trendy love affair stuff, although I do like ..some...
same thing people said about trance, yet there is awesome trance being made today still and its not the uplifting euro kind.
