It was an interesting thread... It gives examples of structures used years ago, and common structure nowadays... Looney4Clooney i think the to sum it up, it shows how EDM is being made for real people other than djs. And the structure is more like a pop song unlike the traditional edm form which was basically buildup, breakdown FULL ON. Not that there were not tracks that had 2 refrains but one thing that is definitely new us is the use of bridges in EDM. Well not new but definitely way more prevalent. i personally think there is no conflict of interest. If you sell on beatport, have an extended mix.
