Hi guys... Sorry... but...
whats is that thread about structure arrangement? I used some search options but I didnt find it again...
Its one thread commenting about new and old school arrangements/structure/sequencing...
Mentioning tracks by LMFAO and Scot Project...
When I get it, the mod can delete this thread, no problem... |

| if in the middle of a jerk thread appears something valuable i think it should end in a sticky. |

hehe... It was an interesting thread...
It gives examples of structures used years ago, and common structure nowadays... |

i think the to sum it up, it shows how EDM is being made for real people other than djs. And the structure is more like a pop song unlike the traditional edm form which was basically buildup, breakdown FULL ON. Not that there were not tracks that had 2 refrains but one thing that is definitely new us is the use of bridges in EDM. Well not new but definitely way more prevalent.
i personally think there is no conflict of interest. If you sell on beatport, have an extended mix. And have your itunes more geared to normal people who don't care about 32 bars of drums. |
