anyone know what vst atb used for that main guitar sort of sound that appears threw out the song ??
Rodri Santos
It's a real guitar pitched, nexus has a preset that it's exactly that sound. But if you want to replicate what makes the track stand out from other tracks then you should rethink for a better idea because won't work.
MSZ
He used a sequential pro one analog synth, go get it mate.

Lol vst in 1998
pretty sure it was Technics WSA1

It's a preset in a Kurzweil sampler released that year.

I used the preset for my re-creation of the mix (I'm quite off on a number of the other sounds, but the lead sound is the same preset ATB used).

Please note that the melody has been changed quite drastically - it's illegal to copy a melody!

not as long as you dont make any money out from it. besides its a remix. it would be stupid to make remix with a different melody (unless the original melody sux, which may be the case with atb).

the roland xx80 series rompler all have that preset. You can find these for pretty cheap.

Is there a xx80 plugin? Or is there a plugin to find one?

Looney4Clooney
naw. There should be tho. But then they couldn't sell their v series synths. But ya, i mean how many mb did those things have ? They really did alot with little. I think the m1 korg plugn might have expansions but don't know for sure.

another thing to look for is those old racks that proceeded the dance crazy. They tended to do cliche sounds to sell their units

korg triton
korg trinity
CSx line
those emu racks orbit , proteus.
And i'm sure akai made sample libraries as well.

You missed my sad attempt at humour.

Anyway, I have a 1080.
