hey!

i'm in the mood for a little vinyl shopping tomorrow...

so do you guys have any suggestions???

thnx;)

I usually shop for all my vinyls online but..

If I'm in a record store then I'll just pick out a large selection of what I think might be good (if I know the artist, remixer, etc already from another tune) Hopefully the shop will have some TT's for people to listen through headphones :D Whenever I go in vinyl shops I am always there for hours scanning through tunes, so my advice is just to be patient ;)

I don't know your style and your aim(are you gonna use in it a special set or what?) but all I can say it that;

look for something rare and groovy !!!
We trance lovers like to hear that kind of tunes nowadays...

PS:Don't listen the tune more than once :haha: :haha:

yah.. well i always order online because record shops here in the US consider new releases to be tunes that have been available over there in Europe for about 6 months.. unless the tunes are really famous to US dj's.. for example, i think the most recent widely available release was the new Sasha album, thats really the only title i think has been released here around the same time as over there.. so thats y i order all my stuff from the euro online shops.. so if i go to a record store, i usually go just to listen to domestic or underground stuff and if its worthy enough, i'll buy it but i usually spend hours in the shops and half the time i walk away empty handed.

Online is the way to go for me... The record store in my town doesn't have more than 10 vinyls from after 2000. The owner doesn't know about the music. I could run the store much better than he does. He's never heard of Vandit, Lightning, etc... The only overseas based label that he knows of is Bedrock, probably because he's watched cheesy rave movies like "Groove"
