Not worth my $35..

Only act I really enjoyed was Azari and III. WTF was up with the 30 minute breaks between acts? Strange... don't even get me started on the crowd. Hipsters from another planet is the best way to describe them.. :nervous:

I heard there were sound problems as well? Just wondering as their sound usually is pretty good from what I remember
smuncky
the good
-big lineup outside to get in moved quite quickly. staff did a good job at coat check too.
-nic fanciulli played the best set of the night. proper start and build up. really enjoyed it.
-seeing some people i haven't seen in ages. good times.

the bad
-sound in the back room was horrible. when fanciulli was on, the sound was distorted, volume kept jumping, no bass. finally they hooked something more than half way into his set which was good. still not great though.
-when kalkbrenner was on in the main room, the bass was ridiculous. couldn't hear anything else.
-bought water and no caps were given. wtf? i don't remember that happening anywhere else. really lame.
-over 30min breaks between acts REALLY killed the vibe and mood. too bad they couldn't figure out a way to be more efficient.

overall it was an interesting experience to say the least. wasn't my cup of tea in terms of music, but i knew that going on. i was curious to see other acts then what i'm usually accustomed to, and i think i got what i came for.

^ Caps are too mainstream imo.

This is what having Die Antwoord on the bill does, I'd say 75% of the crowd was there for them and probably had no idea who the other acts were...
