This episode will be different from my last ones. The promos from mistique have been incredibly sweet for me lately, so im moving away from the trendier progressive house, and heading deeper.
I start this mix off with an artist, I have barely heard of, Xsector and the track is called "After the end". I found it on mistique digital, and was instantly impressed with the atmosphere, so I started this track off in the breakdown where the magic was happening which resulted in a superb intro.
Following up I have two consecutive remixes of CJ Art's Levitation release. Big bombs imo, suffused really ing nailed it with the proper oldschool vibe. There are like 10 mixes in this package, its a big one to check out maybe you'll find one that works for you.
A Michael, levan and Stiven remix up next, how can that be bad?. East cafe delivers a solid remix of Angel Dream, honestly I have been playing his tracks a lot recently, he has become quite an awesome producer.
Played next another producer im new with. Adam P. Absolutely gorgeous remix of Audiostorm's Eastern symptom come outs on November 6th. Love it.
A release I totally missed was the Speacebeat - Northern Lights, after hearing it in another mix, I felt pretty bad because it totally caught my ear. Here I played the Trip O Doris remix, I like the signiture of the remix, but both the original and this one are pretty worthwhile.
Switching it up to some breaks, I fired up Timewave's remix of Trukers' Trocotrace, which I havent even heard until it was on promo, even though I was on the release. Speaking of Trukers the breaks track after was his remix of Simon Firth & Maxi Iborquiza's Laburnmum.
To finish the mix up, A downtempo tune from mistique emotion, by an unknown to me, "D. Lady" and the track is called precious love, just a sweet serene tune.

Sorry, totally forgot to update this thread, so here it is. You'll notice the flow gets a little weird but thats ok, I wanted to play those tracks in particular. I think all of the tracks are released by now.

So everything's supposed to be dance music where you play a new track every 3 mins?
Some chill/deep/old school psy sets could get away with 6 or 7 or even less in an hour... heck I've seen some rare good tracks that themselves can go on for 15-30 mins.
Dling this. Did you do that MSZ's Converged mix of Etnia, or is that just coincidence in name?

Depends on the track... first thing I usually do when I get new tunes is edit them to be shorter, and maybe extend the intro so it's easier to mix. Or add transition effects or percs if it's boring. Like instead of the first drop I'll make it come in at the second drop which maybe has more going on and keeps the pacing going. This kind of music was like impossible to spin fast on vinyl cause the only real time it sounds good is at the intro and outtro, but if youre playing wavs why not edit them for the pacing

There is really no point in arguing personal preferences, hell lets throw in some semantics in here; Tranceaddict signature.
Why yes, Comm; that was me, chances are there are no other MSZ artists on beatport. All my releases can be found there, under mistiquemusic mainly. :) :) :)
