sounds very good so far Firstorder ,Zen and Mike Mikhijan are my favourite producers out here

Pretty ok so i just write down some things i would mix differently/would change.. used 20minutes for this feedback :D
-----
-Open hat is too bright and stands out too much. Change the attack or volume, use reverb or change the sound. Vox fx/sample has a snap sound in the end, remove it/fade out the sample end.
-Use fx on hats/shakers: put slight reverb to make it sound softer or double the track, pan left and right, delay another and add chorus etc.. You can pan hats/shakers/toms freely, just cut low ends from percs/toms, mono low freqs and pan boldly.
-That farty bass sound (0:06, 0:16) would be awesome with some wide sidechained reverb.
-Use HP filter on that VEC/VES downlifter (0:15) and use fx like autopan and delay after it.
-It basically sounds like you combined some vengeance sounds without adding any fx to them. Cut, delay, use reverb, chorus, bitcrusher.. like with your claps, sound too dry.
-One more thing, think the progression of the track and how it would sound on a club. Your main part is from 3:00 to 4:00. Still the bass keeps going from 3mins to the end. Cut it _at least:_ on 3:45, make some changes to it in middle of the main part. You tried to make a short break at 4:14 but the bass is still going wihtout the kick, so this is basically useless. It feels and sounds the same and is boring to the listener.
Reason why im writing this is you have the right structure and great knowledge how to make a nice track. Here's some thoughts of mine, as you can see im not fluent in english but I hope you get something out of it :) |
