I haven't fully mixed this yet but you can judge whatsover . what do you think? I don't know if keep breakdown mostly as it is (feels like a halloween theme i've made this track this weekend) or look for a more conventional arrangement.

Any criticism is welcome, thanks!

Nice tune I like the eerie horror movie sounds, breakdown is sweet

Really enjoyed this. All your's or some from that haloween sample pack I've seen about? Either way it gets my blood pumping.

You should bring in that chord hook thingy (that comes in around 1 minute) earlier. The track is really empty without it. Also maybe be a little bit more liberal with the hi-hats. The breakdown feels somewhat out of place, why not use some stuff from the breakdown after the drop? It would give the track more progression and a lot more energy.

Ty all.

1st minute is the intro that's why it feels a bit empty. Breakdown is what needs tuning, i've to make it less abrupt. Using elements from the breakdown is not common on this style but could be ok, gonna try.

I know the first minute is supposed to be the intro but there's no point. If a DJ can't mix your track from the first minute on, he's retarded and you shouldn't cater to him. A proper techno track makes sense from the first second on. Don't gimp your track by catering to retards.

I've followed your advice and i come with a developed version, i somehow don't feel the progression after the breakdown i'd prefer something without any melody here, just beats... what do you think?

I've uploaded it to Soundcloud even though stream is 128kbps quality because mixcloud is having issues today and the audio was distorted.

cut back on the melody after the break, focus more on the basics this will give more rawness
Woony
Yeah, the melody after the break doesn't work that well. The overall track structure is much better now though. Maybe try an additional chord hook after the break?

thank you guys i opted for this last suggestion of making a new chord hook of 4 bars. This should be the "C side" of a 3 track EP i've been working on so i hope to sign it to a decent label and then you'll see how it is the finished product :)

Thanks again for all the advice.
