It looks like a blizzard out there! Not much accumulation, but crazy wind and snow right now in Jersey City.

Feel bad for the folks still without heat/power.

Agreed, this is just depressing.

Walked outta work in the Bronx and my coworker had 6 inches accumulated on his car (in 3.5 hours!) :nervous: He drove me back to Manhattan and there is a thin layer of accumulation at best (but its currently "raining" ice). Strange, the differences in boroughs.

What an awful commute. So cold, wind from all directions at once. Thanks for building a bus depot with no coverings, ing Queens.

My commute home in NNJ was uneventful. Work seemed worse than my house. Supposed to be in the 50s this weekend and sunny, so this stuff won't last long.

Btw this storm is a named storm... Winter Storm "Athena".

Luckily, I've been working from home since last week. I heard they shut down port tonight due to over crowding , that is just crazy.

Up in Greepoint right now. Snowing pretty hard hours ago...not as much now. Hopefully this isn't major cause it doesn't look like it.

tryna finish album number 2 for tha year...

I don't think it was as bad. It did bring some snow/slush/rain and high winds, but I think this one more hit up in CT/RI area than NJ/NY.

So I definitely underestimated this storm. It snowed pretty hard yesterday when driving + today I was shoveling snowing in the morning

I had a mission to fix the flat tire on my snowblower but was unsuccessful. It did snow here but most of it melted without actually snowing it.

Things should go back to normal tomorrow though, that's good news.

And whats with this gas shortage still? Come on gas people, there is enough to go around...
