det är poängen, om det är en Dub mix finns inga Vocaler.

i have to say i didn't expect much but i'm quite impressed!!! it has a good build-up and everything fades in and out very nicely!! lets hope the qlimax is quite was good as the build-up and you'd have very nice track indeed!!
welke software heb je gebruikt??...
edit* i may have a suggestion.. the part before the "classical part" i might wanna aid an extra layer if you know what i mean.. the melody there is catchy but try not to make it too .... (overdreven??) |

i guess the first thing means something like: because a dub remix doesnt have vocals? :P (well thats what a though at least:D else ill name it instrumental or something when its finished..)

im thinking of asking a friend of mine whos in a band to sing in something for me, she told me once she would like to do it, so...:)
the only thing is..i dont know how to record vocals properly...is probably inpossible with just a pc a mic and soundforge? (or any other recording software) |

Hehe.....well I was just checking...
Cuz when itīs called Dub it should really have vocals in it.....just small hints of it...with long delays on...
But aparantly (sp) not in the trance genre...
I`m not trying to be a smartass...itīs just that I think this Dub bussines is pretty funny :D
Look at reggae music...and check out the Dub genre and uīll understand what I mean :)
Again...like this tune dude! I love the original and I have always wanted to hear a trance rmx of it :)

and ill check out some reggae dub. the reason is i named it dub remix is because i read something here on the forums a dub remix:conf:
but it doesnt really matter:) ill just rename it when its finished:D
ohw and my friend said she'd love to sing for my tracks..:) but dont expect something like jan johnston or sarah maclachan or something;) with her bands she makes rock:D
now the problem is how to record those vocals without a proffessional studio...
hope there's someone who can help me out on this? |

ok... my little review:
-the kick.. its a bit 2 bassy..
-i like that little ffect.. i think its an square waveform.. could use some fx tho..
-bassline is pretty cool
-the main synth.. well.. the basics are okay.. but it needs a bit more power
-strings are nice :D
-the layers are pretty cool done.. did u all figure them out urself??
well nice track.. but uhh.. i think it isn`t uploaded right.. cuz it just stops @ 5:07 :(

thanks! this is very helpfull:) ive spent the most of this day trying to improve things, but it doesnt really work out:( when you play the file in winamp the winamp eq shows that there are so many frequencies missing or just not loud enough..
do you know how i can give that synth more power?
about the layers..what exactly do you mean by layers?..i used a .midi to recreate the melodies..i wish i could have done it by ear, but that goes beyond my musical skills (which arent much unfortunately)
and well..anything else in this song ive done myself;)
and the time correct..it isnt finished yet, im trying to find something that fits nicely after the strings.. maybe someone have some suggestions?:D
