I wish McCarren pool was still a concert venue. I thought that was a great space. Big, open and wide.

Last event I went there was Armin. That space was really cool except, now, there's wayy too much violence in that area. Especially inside that park/pool over the summer. Many incidents occurred making it unsafe, I would say, to the public.

+1 for DAFT PUNK!!!!!!! I would give my life to see them atleast once...been a fan since 1997!

But we all know once and when that gets announced, set, and finalized, tickets are going to be out the door in less than an hour.

They're probably the biggest act in electronica right now.

Daft Punk @ SS?? :eyespop:  :tongue2

Thought it would be interesting to get a discussion going on who we'd like to see come to NYC who hasn't been booked here before or who is rarely booked.

Techno-wise, I've been dying to see Matador. That needs to happen, like yesterday.
House, I'd love to see Dusky. I have been on a huge Dusky kick the past month and have been forcing their music on everyone around me.
Trance, I would looooove another Coldharbour night with different DJs on the roster, like Nifra and Basil O'Glue.

I'd love to see Dusky too, and Basil O'Glue is definitely one of the more interesting trance artists at the moment.

Luke Fair and Add2Basket hardly ever come around (A2B was only here once back in late 2011) and they are both 2 favorites of mine. Maybe have Tensnake back here too.

Guess its your lucky day bc Add2basket is playing at Sullivan this sat the 1st.

read my response a few pages earlyer...
"would love to see a party with to me some of the very last of the true trance heros who have remained true to the sound over the years...joof,airwave,solarstone,orkeida. now that ladies and gentlemen would be one for the books"

i seen him in miami 2010. hands down one of the best opening sets i ever heard, guy played amazing prog trance def a solid set and a nice dj

sadly the party was ruined by cosmic gate who came on next and played a crappy set, so i decided to go in the back room and take a nap till they were done...true story

ha ha ha he is madd old school i wouldnt say it wouldnt happen
but the way dj's are selling out i sadly dont wanna see it happen

well he is collaboration with a lot of people. as he blows in the mainstream recognition he will be tested. it is not like he is a die hard trance fan. his prodoction are more progressive related. so whats to stop him from changing his basslines and kicks to souless trouse elements.
