For Space not to be on here is retarded. Yes I know it's "Space", but no one can argue the sound is always spot-on

Have they been there at all? While they do have a Funktion One sound system I don't think its set up correctly as the highs are ear piercingly awful at times. Meh, this is like Marquee in Vegas they are paying big bucks for this stupid publicity. |

this is a fukin joke right??? i wont even go see my to 1 or 2 fav djs at mansion even if its free because the system is so poorly done (funktion one blows!!!!...it slaps the out of your ears even with custom ears plugs on
liv figured this out after having funktion one for a while and switched to dynacord (thanks god) cause if not i wouldnt go there either.
what a joke!!!!

it's not the Funktion One it's the configuration. Gryphon has a proper eq'd Funktion One. Also pays when you have the main location for Funktion One come out and properly set the system up. I'd put our system up against any.
I thought LIV had the bassmaxx system before the dynacord. |

Does anyone remember Space 34 when it had all true Dyancord. Just in the first floor of the main room they had:
12 full ranges. 4 sub stacks. 2 of them so massive you could not talk on the phone in the bathroom the bass rumbled so much.
Space really ruined the best nightclub when they filled in the floor to make the loft. That old lighting truss that went up and down and whoever controlled the lights WMC 2004 knew what they were doing. When I went back later in 2004 the lights were the same but it looked like LP did not want to pay the original guy who controlled the lights because it was just on some repeat setting. It was a shame
I agree about funktion 1 being good. Although it can be well tuned and still hurt your ears. In 2011 Space Ibiza was a prime example of that, Most people cannot agree that loud can be clear but I believe it was perfectly clear. Honestly I liked the fact that it felt like I was listening to a competition car stereo except in a nightclub.
This year it was turned way down, it was still plenty loud to most and of course crystal clear. |

Yup, Gryphon sounds damn good. Space is the winner though.
And Kennedy in Tampa was a surprise - good sound in there. |
