OK so you got a ton of lovely livesets/singles/videos etc on that hard-drive of yours.
If you are clever you have backed up all the data onto CD-Rs (If you have'nt go do it now them come back here).
Youve since deleted some of the stuff from yur harddrive so you can get new stuff, safe in the knowledge that all the data is on disc.
Problem is, you want to find a tune or video and you cant remember which CD you put them onto. What you need is a searchable database of your off-line files.
So go here and download Advance Disc Catalog. A great program if you ask me.
You just bung each CD into your computer and log it into ADC, then after a while you got a large database of all your files. ADC even catalogs .jpgs files etc. You can also send you friends your whole catalog file and they can have a look and see what you have. ADC can also make .txt files if ya want it too, but meh I dont like them.
There are other programs out there that do this, but this is the best one I found so far.
Enjoy

| Can you use this program to catalogue extra information such as bitrate, track length, origin, bpm, etc. i.e. add any extra information you choose? |

You can add comments for each data cd you put in the catalog.
Its not a sole based MP3 catalog, it's for anything thats on the data disc's.
