Appearing from seemingly out of thin air, one day he’s at college playing under a different moniker, and the next he’s off climbing to the summit of nu-disco charts. A true rags to riches story, Freddy, with little help, started off with a remix of Duck Sauce’ single “Goody Two Shoes”, which eventually found itself sitting atop of the Hype Machine front page. Viceroy would soon become a regular at the Hype Machine cafe, as well as invading MTV. Viceroy really took control over the blog networks, completely dominating with his upbeat and fresh tunes.
He then went on to forge a bundle of explosive remixes with powerhouses such as: Passion Pit, Two Door Cinema Club, Yelle, The Knocks, The Penelopes, St Lucia, and Ghost Beach. And this is without forgetting his stellar hip hop remixes of the one and only Notorious B.I.G, Wiz Khalifa, and the original summertime bad boy turned actor Will Smith.
After sharing the stage with such names as Diplo, Oliver, Plastic Plates and Treasure Fingers, all the whilst finding support and praise from such legendary trendsetters such as Diplo, A-Trak, and RAC. Viceroy is ready to come for you Montreal.
