| I don't think i ever made it past 2000!! :eek: How i wish i could go vinyl shopping back in 99/00!! So many awesome tracks that would absolutely go nuts now if someone were to play them!! Trance has gathered such a following over the last year and a lot of the quality old stuff has never been heard by a lot of these people!! |

| Same...i gotta stop buying old vinyl, be more picky and buy stuff which can make a decent set. Start finding new stuff which no one else plays yet. It's the only way to break through in Brissy...gotta have a sound which none of the other locals have. |

Agreed that is one awesome set from PvD ... the track you're talking about is number 8 in Dowlz's tracklisting .. maybe it's mislabeled? b/c it's definitely the same track...
he also spins it during Paul van Dyk - Live @ Rosenmontagsrave 2000, about 80 minutes in :D
i loved that track for soooo long :D
as I've said before and will probably say again many times, if you want old style, uplifting 1999 trance, the best set you will ever hear is Tiesto - Live @ Energy 2000 (31-12-1999).

That PVD set is an absolute ripper! I like it more than his Mayday 2000,2002 and Columbiahalle 2002. SO bangin so trancin so brilliant.
And that Tiesto set rocks as well. Although I feel he peaked it a bit to early with Sparkles, Kiss and Destination Sunshine cause after that its still good but it dies down a bit. Still an awsome set! |

they dont make it like they use to :( i love my stuff from around 99/00, found an old set i had from armin van buuren live at club eau 2000 and the first half of the set just brought back so many memories.. my ultimate dream would be for armin to play a set like that here when he comes... would be a real treat.
bring back the epic! today's stuff just doesnt do it for me like it did then.. :( |
