So did MIKE...
Not sure what happened and I won't speculate, but MIKE went up to the decks, I think played his first song, and walked off the decks. Next thing you know he's putting his jacket on and leaving. As far as I know, Myers was either a no call/no show or cancelled.
Rory jumped back on the decks for about a 1/2 hour and then Bissen was on I believe from 1-3. |

Then why agree to play there? It was probably more the lack of a turnout than the venue, but I don't know. I think at peak there was maybe 30 something people there?

As for his comment about a place being familiar, I can only speculate either Sullivan Room or Pacha. But I can't see him pulling in a huge crowd to Pacha. |

| Thanks to those who came out to support the party last night! Also would like to apologize for the unfortunate events that took place, which were beyond my control. Not sure what happened, but I am sure there was a legit reason for it. Happy that many of you stayed for what turned into an extended set of mine, and thanks to Bissen who came through last minute as a closer! Hopefully M.I.K.E will be back in NY soon! |

No the booth was downstairs, all the way down the room, past the bar. |

That's not all true. I think it was still fairly early in the night.
Plus that place hasnt been known to stand out as a trance/EDM spot for new yorkers to go to.
M.I.K.E.'s thrown some pretty sick parties in NY like Webster Hall and Club Love. All of which whom always had excellent turn outs.
I believe it had more to do with the promoter of the venue and nothing with M.I.K.E. himself. |
