500 records? How much is that gonna cost to send? Like $300? Probably more even

thats like the weight of a man lol. will probably cost you!

a record weighs between 140 and 220 grams, so lets go with 180.

500 records would weigh approx 90 kilos (more if you ship them in a travel case which you should to avoid screwing them up).

an estimate i got from purolator.

Base Cost $1,837.65
Declared Value Surcharge $130.50
Multipiece $165.39
Fuel Surcharge $248.08

$2,381.62

that is in canadian dollars.

It cost me about 800$ to fly the same amount of records with a baggage surcharge when i flew to China. If you are moving to Seoul, i would suggest to try this. It's cheaper if you fly business class and have an account with the airline. If you booked your flight through a discount site, you will be raped.

The quote is for express shipping though, you could probably more than half it by doing it the slow way (by boat) but you will wait 2 months for it.

ps...learn to google.

check with the post office you can sometimes ship postal bags.
Dykes_on_Jay
Canada post are rip off artists. They are more expensive than the big guys...i know, i checked. They also have ridiculous weight surcharges, because Gov employees are lazy.
