So I received Daniel Avery's FABRICLIVE 66 in the mail today. It sounds fresh to me, perhaps it's because I don't listen to much Electro, Tech-House these days. The track that stood out for me was:

check out SPIRIT CATCHER, they have TONS of amazing stuff like this, i have sourced most of their work, working on the rest :D they have the same sound as compuphonic, they have worked with together before, and have a few EP's out. they are the leaders in this sound.
check also kolombo, phonique, tad wily and baxter.
this is catcher's most famous tune, but they have lots of deeper stuff.

What the hell kind of electro are we talking about here? These tracks are all 4/4 house tracks and they aren't really electro house either.
Anyways, there was a ing ridiculous free, 116 track electro compilation released earlier this year. It features almost every prominent name of the modern electro scene. I'm not so much a fan of the harsher, detroit funk style stuff but if you're into that, you're going to have an orgasm with this.

Track sounds like tribal house from the early 00's mixed in with a few electro-housey elements. Not enough for me to consider it true electro house.
And Spiritcatcher as electrohouse? Dafuq? Style's way too mellow to be considered that.
EDIT: Oops, misread title. Still wouldn't consider those selections to be electro though.
