Oriented in rhythmic compositions of bongos, flutes, and other various instruments complimenting the signature sound of tribal, is ing nice.
Airwave delivers a great album with this one. Deep basslines, a multitude of moods; elevation contained within an album! Black Lines comes paired with an album called White Lines, but I haven't got my hands on it yet. None the less don't sleep on this one!

There's already been much discussion about this album, so I don't think anyone is sleeping on it. I actually went to the official launch party in Brighton.

Ah I've been sleeping on Trance! Any CD releases at the party? I see it only comes in MP3 form?

No CD releases, J00F Recordings is a digital-only label these days and the album is too long to fit on a CD, anyway. The sister album is called Bright Lines, by the way.
If you're out of the trance loop, I recommend you check out another J00F Recordings artist, Cosmithex. He has a similar progressive trance sound to Airwave's new material. Definitely my favourite trance producer of the moment, although hardly anyone seems to know of him:

Quite a few know of him. It's just that he haven't been around for so long. He was even mentioned on Isratrance. If he is mentioned there then I doubt he is unknown.

Cosmithex is alright but mostly a miss for me, to much progpsy for my taste.
I think "You Are My Salvation" is the real gem from Joof, he fuse psy and trance just perfectly.

I'm constantly seeing people on TA going "I've never heard of this guy before" even though we talk about him nonstop. If there are people who are slow to pick up on Airwave's album, it wouldn't surprise me at all if they'd missed Cosmithex.
Mattsanity.
Airwave is a rare late 90's trance product who hasn't turned wack.

Agreed, Cosmithex is the bomb

Nice album

I really like "The Absolute Relativity' and 'Oyama'. I really didn't think Airwave would put out anything interesting ever again, although I can be pretty cynical with trance.
Atlas Winds is pretty sweet too, I prefer the original male vocals but were Islamic calls to prayer subsequently pissing off Muslims. I thought it made it trippy and cinematic.
