This is not an early April Fool's joke. Not sure what they are thinking booking someone who plays very dark, twisted & underground techno at the Disneyland of South Beach venues. But things will get interesting if they try to get Hawtin to water it down, cause he is not likely to do so for anyone ...

I see it already. Richie starts off his set playing dark and deep. Liv Bimbo #1: Hey play Levels! Richie: I'm out...(drops headphones gangsta style and walks out of club after 1 minute playing)
How lame is this. Richie comes back to SFL and he gets booked at LIV. Oh and $60* for males? you.

Yeah this is very stupid. No one there will understand the music and no people that do understand the music will want to go to that place for that kind of party. Weird.

See that's the issue that pisses me off. LIV goes around and tosses all this money around at djs and then these djs expect that fee everywhere else in south florida but none of the other can afford them. Think Luciano. I heard some absurb rumors on what LIV pays him.
Can LIV shut it's doors finally and just move down to Story, so that can close within a year. |
