Pirate Radio is a new cross-genre EDM project comprised of Brian Taylor & Karan Mehra that combines electro and progressive house with live electronic guitar riffs and melodic solos.
The project began with a serendipitous meeting in NYC after Karan and Brian moved to the city and set out to explore the indigenous musical landscape. Their collaboration organically evolved from impromptu late-night acoustic guitar jams into even more late-night electronic house parties, with Karan on the decks and Brian on the electric guitar. Karan favors tracks by Eric Prydz, Avicii, Mat Zo, and Zedd, while classic guitar heroes like John Petrucci, Shawn Lane, and Les Paul heavily influence Brian's sound to create a unique fusion that keeps audiences dancing for hours.
