the point of a promoter is to promote. if a venue has its together, than they probably don't need a promoter. Bars, lounges, etc... But if you need to get people in the door, than you get a promoter to help push the event.

There are curfew laws in sf/ca right? What would happen if the police received a report of an underage person breaking curfew in an establishment that is 21+ and serving alcohol? Completely hypothetical of course, I'm just a person who always seeks knowledge. |
