Arrgh some of the transitions seem cluttered.

i am interested in this, i am scared of the low quality comments but if you manage to fix this i'll listen to it.
Anyway why don't you upload the set to a service like Soundcloud so people can preview it swiftly and if they like what they hear download it?
Mediafire sometimes has awful download speed like 30kbps or so, no waiting time hopefully but still there are better hostings.
Also about the sound quality i'd get a really old analog mixer for this kind of sets, i¡ve been playing with a Rane rotary mixer and the quality was noticeably better than with a djm 2000 (and it's not cheap stuff you know) , filtering the sound through a behringer product... well could be better. |

| I understand soundcloud is the cream of the crop. Unfortunately I'm a lowballer who needs a better boss. |

I thought this was a pretty good mix Matt, with a few criticisms that you need to take like a man. Principally: the mixing was pretty terrible in places. Quite a few occasions where you're fading a kick drum in over what is a beatless outro of another track, and more than a few errors with beatmatching and EQing here and there. You are also not paying any attention to levels - some tracks are really quiet and others (I Dream in particular) burst in really loudly.
With that said, the overall flow was pretty good and you get in your groove especially in the second half. I'm obviously a sucker for this sound but the tracks were all very good, and credit for finding some less obvious selections and alternate mixes to fit in amongst the classics. You opted away from more epic selections in favour of heads-down grooves for the most part. |

Free account is enough to host a decent number of mixes, pro account isn't expensive either, i can barely pay my bills and i am considering upgrading you don't lose anything.
I am downloading this however when i've time to listen it i'l post my feedback. |

When it came to the beatless outro of Direct Me, I wanted that stabbing sound to compliment Loving You More. It was a transition i did intentionally and I thought they sounded good together, but I understand if it that part was odd.
Some of the beatmatching fell apart alittle, but I don't think they were detrimental. Turntables don't have extra technology to guide me but that's probably not a good excuse.
I was aware that some records were pressed better than others so I did try to control the channel faders so that both tracks sound equal. It seems like I still faded in some tracks alittle loud.
