I hate people who say "cats are independent"
Can they open the in door on their own? no.
Can They make their own food? No.
they're just s. Thats the difference.
This cracked me up. Very true. I remember a quote by Terry Pratchett (I think) that went to the effect of "Cats often give the impression they are only tolerating their human owners until someone invents a paw-operated can opener".
And I love all the people in this thread talking with complete confidence about a subject where they have clearly consulted no scientific research whatsoever.

Well you trained him in someway i guess i was considering both animals wild.
I prefer cats i've had a cat when i was a child and... a duck. But dogs are loyal and surely you can have more fun with them, kittens might be funny and manageable, adult cats simply don't give a about you as long as their food is guaranted. Not to mention that dogs can be useful as keepers for sheeps for example, guards of your house... while a cat if a burglar comes in probably would hide behind the closet.

Cats are actually too smart to train lol. The problem with cats is they're independent. Dogs just love you and are loyal but they're less intelligent.

Dogs are clearly smarter because they poop in the grass instead of in boxes because it's fertilizing the soil and is good for the environment.
Case closed.
